To view a tournament, click on one of the "View Tournament" links above. The tournament ladder will open in a new page. If the tournament is in OPEN status, you may register as a player in that tournament. Once the tournament begins, the tournament will enter CLOSED status and new players will no longer be able to join. Tournaments automatically begin at midnight on their start date, with each round ending at midnight on the following consecutive days. At the end of each round, the scores will be tallied and the players will be notified if they will be moving on to the next round or not. In each round, a player has 24 hours to get the highest score possible for that round. A player may play the game as many times as they would like to improve their score in that round. If a player fails to submit a score during their round, they will lose. If both players in a round match fail to submit a score, the player with the least amount of EXP will move on to the next round. In the event of a tie, the player with the least amount of EXP. will move on to the next round. This is to ensure a competitive gameplay experience for players of all skill levels. Tournament high scores do not count towards regular high scores, and no EXP will be given during rounds. Only the winner of the tournament will be awarded, and that award shall be 1,000 EXP for every opponent in the tournament! That means if there are 10 people in the tournament, the winner will recieve 10,000 EXP, whereas in a tournament with only three people, the award would only be 3,000 EXP. |
